The Chefs Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, is a pioneer in the field of Hospitality Management education in Kerala. It has been in existence for the past fifteen years and has contributed to the pool of Hospitality Management professionals in India as well as abroad.

Mr. T.M. Francis, the Director of this institution is a veteran in hotel industry. He had been in the hotel industry for more than thirty years abroad. During this period he worked in different five star hotels like Hilton international, Nihal international and Sheraton hotels, in the capacity of F & B Services Personal clerk, Assistant Personal manager, Public Relation officer, and Human resources Manager. He too had an experience in Managing own hotel and cultural school for more than twenty years in the United Arab Emirates. Mr. P.K. Suresh Kumar, the Principal of this institution has 20 years experience in Five Star hotels and Carnival Cruise Line as executive chef. He was also been a trainer in the Food production field abroad.
